Beverage Gardening

With snow rabbits lurking outside, the safest place for seedlings is my windowsill. There's not much space along the window, and I have all these beverage cups left over from so many Rock and Roll parties...They make good windowsill seed starters.
The inner cup has drainage holes and the outer cup does not.

When you water them, you can pretend you're a bartender filling drinks.

hahaha! I've done that with Starbucks cups! Awesome!

To answer yer question, I used to set up dressing rooms for rock stars in Chicago... the better part was feeding the stagehands. But you name it... I probably worked for them... I retired about 5 years ago though, so nobody too new

What a great idea for all those discards! I'll have to give it a try, as I prepare for flowers in the great outdoors, instead of on the windowsill.

Loved your songs for gardening, too -- and am now trying to come up with some more to (mentally) add to your list.

Great Pictures. I have trays of used Styrofoam cups I use to get a lot of my seeds started as well. I really enjoy jamming out when I look at your blog. Keep up the good work.
